Why Inari sees the aurora it does
Inari does not promise an aurora. It supplies three conditions that make one observable: a position near the auroral oval, winter hours when the sky becomes dark enough, and nights when cloud does not block the light. Geomagnetic activity still decides whether an aurora forms; latitude, darkness and weather decide whether it can be seen.
